Speaker 1:

Crazy peace to one, to all. Welcome to another rendition of the Moral Compass Chronicles. I am your guy. I'm your brother. I'm your host, Eyon J E Y O N J A Y Y. And you can find me everywhere. Just about everywhere. Okay. And today is December 25th. Well, it's really December 26th. But this is the Christmas rendition of the Moral Compass Chronicles. Happy holidays to each and every single one of you. Whatever it is that you celebrate. I want to wish you a happy holiday. And I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas. Now, do we know like whether or not Jesus was born today? Not really. Some people are certain that he was born, you know, in the springtime or, you know, wintertime. Whatever. I don't care. Can I just say? I don't care. Okay. I today is not Jesus' day. Alright? Today is not today is not the day we are celebrating because Jesus was born today. Today is the day that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. Okay? That's it. That's it. Do we know if his birthday was today? No, we don't know. But he's God. So it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Let's not get caught up. And I didn't mean to come in so hot at you. But let's not get so caught up in if today Christmas is his birthday. Or if it's January something, or if it's another day. Let's not get too caught up in that. What matters is that he was born. He was born and it was an immaculate conception borrowing the womb of a virgin because the womb had to be pure. Right? And he chose a specific bloodline to come through in order to come into the world as a man. So that the world through him might be saved, right? So that's that's what matters. And so I say Merry Christmas again to you. Isaiah chapter 9, verse number six, it says, For unto us a child is born. That's Jesus, right? Unto us a son is given. It goes on to say that the government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the Prince of Peace, of the increase of his government, and peace there shall be no end upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Right? Wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father. So I think uh I think it's clear what the word of God is saying there, but I I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, man. I I I have been through a lot this year. We probably have, I know you probably have also. There has been a lot that has taken place in my life, the life of my family. Um, but we are here, we are here, and I'm giving God thanks for another year, another Christmas, being able to see it and to celebrate, to be able to celebrate with my family. It is it was it is an honor. It is an honor to be able to serve in this capacity, in the many other capacities in which I do serve. Um I am grateful for so many things, so many things. I am grateful to be a son.

Speaker:

I'm grateful to be a brother. I'm going in order, right?

Speaker 1:

I'm grateful to be a friend to so many of you, and then to go on to be able to have the honor of being a husband to my wife, shout out to my wife, and then to even go on to be able to be a father, and um, I have been a father figure over you know several years to several people, but to be a father, um not just a spiritual or or figurative father, but an actual father, a parent. Um I'm I'm I'm blessed. I count myself, I count myself blessed, man, to be in the land of the living and to be the person that God chose to use to create the Moral Compass Chronicles, the Moral Compass Group, uh 2026. There is a lot in store. There is a lot in store for 2026 uh from the Moral Compass Group, and I am excited to share these words with you, these different platforms. Um I'm excited to be able to continue to serve the people of this world, uh, you all, my brothers, my sisters, my friends, and I wish a happy holiday to each and every one of you. I pray God's blessings over your life, you, whoever you are, you are listening right now. I pray the blessings of the Lord over your life right now, and that you will remain in good health, your family as well. I pray that you seek first the kingdom of the Lord and his righteousness, so that all that you need, all that you want, if it's in his will, can be added unto you. Uh, that is my prayer for you all, and I'm grateful for my entire family. I love you, those who you know are hearing this. I love you, I appreciate you. Shout out Refuge N C A C I have a little umpic I want to get into here. Um, I don't want to drone too much about uh you know how grateful I am. I'll you know probably get a little emotional. Um but shout out to my daughter, man. Shout out to my daughter. She's she's here, man. My daughter is here. She's uh she'll be three months old on the 29th of December. So she'll be going into the new year three months, excuse me. A little tired, but she'll be going into the new year three months old, man, and she is she is truly a blessing to my life and to my wife and I. And so giving God thanks for her. I have I have been realizing more and more over the last few years that my awareness to the physical that we're seeing here, my awareness in the spirit, or I meant the natural, right? So in the spiritual and the natural, I have been noticing a growth or a rise rather in my awareness level. And I find myself having conversations with people as I'm talking to them, I find myself enlightening them, raising their level of awareness to whatever the situation is that they have brought to me. Okay, and I want you to stick with me here. We're not gonna be here long today. And today is the Christmas edition, Christmas episode, rather, but it's technically the 26th, and today is my sister's birthday. My sister Savannah, so happy birthday, sis. Shout out to my brother Ambrose as well. Happy birthday to you guys, love you guys. Um, as I have these conversations with so many people on a day-to-day basis, week to week. I'm a mentor, I'm a minister, I'm a youth president, youth chairman at my church. I find myself as my awareness in the natural and in the spiritual has grown. I find myself having conversations with brothers and sisters and friends and clients, and I find myself raising the level of awareness for other people. As we have conversations, people are bringing things to me, their situations, their circumstances, whatever it may be, and I find that I am having conversations with them that is raising their level of awareness in the natural and in the spiritual, and that sort of started to lead me to see how important one's level of awareness is, and to take it a step further, I have started to see and understand that with a raised level of awareness, now it feels burdening when you become more aware to situations, and you could just think just like think about not knowing something, and then when you find out, so just think about it in simple terms, right? Let's just say, to for an example's sake, you don't know something, and then you find something out. Let's say it's bad news, you are now feeling burdened. You may feel uncomfortable, you may start to feel a little bit anxious, of course, depending on what the situation is. Now, that I can liken that now to just everything spiritual, natural. When you become aware of things, sometimes you may feel the weight of it a little more now. You become aware to people and who they are, who they really are, and what they're about, what they've done, maybe even. You could even start to now start to see things that you may not have seen before. It's so funny. Certain things could be right in front of your face for years, but because you're not aware of what's going on, it doesn't bother you, right? Somebody could be doing something in the dark, and you could see this person every single day and not know. Fun uh uh not fun, but uh uh a lady at my church gave a testimony, and I hope she's doing well right now because she she she um I believe she was diagnosed with cancer not too long ago. So we're praying for you, sis. Not gonna call her name, but we're praying for you, and God knows who you are. But she gave a testimony that she was working with someone every single day. Every single day, she went to work, sat right next to this lady. They would talk, they'd have lunch, so on and so forth. And years later, she had a conversation with the lady, and the lady, I believe this is how it went, or somehow she found out that the lady was doing witchcraft on the weekends and during the week, I guess. I mean, every single weekend, the same way she would go to church, this lady went to her, you know, I guess Satan worshipping group, where they would worship Satan and all of these different things. And every single day she sat next to this lady and had no clue. Every day she saw her, went to work with her every day, and had no clue for years that this lady was practicing witchcraft, worshiping the devil on the weekends, the same way we'd go and go to church, worship God. So she had no clue, and so it didn't bother her, right? But the second she found out now your awareness has has changed. Her level of awareness has has grown, and now you're she's now she finds herself no longer comfortable around this person, right? So I I found myself understanding, and more so more recently, that when your awareness increases, so does your responsibility. When your awareness increases, so does your responsibility. And I'm this is a message for 2026. All right, this is a message for myself. If you find yourself um interested in anything that I have to say, then this is a message for you as well. As your awareness increases, so does your responsibility. I mentioned those conversations that I have with people on a daily, on a weekly basis, and sometimes we're on the horns of a dilemma. We find ourselves in a situation where we don't know what to do. We find ourselves feeling slided sometimes by other people. We find ourselves in a situation where somebody did something to us, and now we have to decide how we're gonna move forward. And I find myself having these conversations, and I can even think about one of my brothers I was just talking to not too long ago. Shout out to my dog, the awareness level grows, it increases, and now you find yourself saying, Damn, well, I can't respond how I always have. Maybe in the past I would respond in a certain way, but now that I understand more, now that I'm able to see more in the natural and see more in the spiritual, now that my level of awareness to the how sensitive things truly are, now that I know that God is calling me to handle situations better. Now that I've become more aware of this, how I respond is extremely important, more so now than it was in the past. I would like to think, my brothers and sisters, that these episodes, these chronicles, rather, that I get on here and I record and I put out into the world, I would like to think that through these chronicles, the awareness of somebody has grown. I would like to think that as you are listening from the very first episode, we're probably we're approaching episode 20. So about 20 episodes this year. And it's funny because we've already passed the one-year mark. I believe we we launched the Moral Compass Chronicles. I actually got to look into that because we might have just hit our one year. We I believe we just hit one year on the Moral Compass Chronicles, if I'm not mistaken. So congratulations to us. December 8th made one year. And I I've had so much going on, haven't even realized. December 8th made one year. I I recently heard that 90 something percent of Podcasts fail before the first year is up. 90% of 90 something percent of podcasts, and I got this information from a very reliable source. Somebody much smarter than I am as it pertains to the podcasting space.

Speaker:

Before they reach one year, they just stop.

Speaker 1:

You just stop producing, you stop uploading for whatever reason. And I can understand why. I mean, throughout this year, the amount of things that have happened this year, I have had so many reasons to stop doing this. I've had so many reasons to not and not necessarily give up, but when life comes at you, it's so easy for certain things to take a back seat. But you know what I realized? This is my calling. It is my calling to raise the awareness level of the people, and this cannot fail, and it will not, as long as you receive something, then we're a success. Success is not gonna be measured in dollars, not for us. You notice I keep saying us, right? We success here in this space is not gonna be measured by dollars and downloads and subscribers. Oh my god. Success is gonna be measured by how much awareness we gain together. That's how success is gonna be measured for us in this space. And I'm not talking about you and your individual life. You got your own stuff going on. I'm talking about right here. How much awareness have we gained this year? This is episode 20. This is Chronicle number 20. We just hit the one year mark. And and you've listened to the first episode, you probably heard the second one. I mean, I I know that as the the the episode count grows, there are less and less people who have heard everything. I think if the the very first uh chronicle we did here, I mean that one, that one, the the the numbers on that one was, and this is full transparency, the numbers in that first episode, crazy, wild. And as I have continued, there's a dip, there's a drop, there's a drop. So I know that not everybody who was here for the first one is here for the 20th one, and that's okay, that's expected. But there are so many of you who listen to the first one and the second one, the fifth one, the tenth one, the fifteenth. We've we surpassed a thousand downloads. So somebody's listening, and I want to know has your awareness level grown this year through the Moral Compass Chronicles? And if you feel like it has, you need to understand that you have a higher level of responsibility now. We have a higher level of responsibility.

Speaker:

Increased accountability. Increased responsibility.

Speaker 1:

That's a that is a uh that's an ideal or or a a um what's the word a value of sorts that's taught throughout the Bible. Increased awareness, it brings increased accountability and responsibility. There's a scripture that I love, James, I think it's James chapter uh James chapter five, maybe, or James chapter three, verse one. It says, My brethren, be not many masters. And I think I've mentioned this before to you guys, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. We definitely, we've we've gone, I think we just we just went through that scripture. Last episode, I believe. So we're in the spirit, we're we're right in the same vein here. We're right in the same vein. Be not many masters, be not many teachers. Don't be so quick to take up leadership positions and leadership roles. Why? Because as your awareness or as your your as you level up, you have greater responsibility. Accountability gets it gets tighter on you. Ecclesiastes actually says that in much wisdom is much grief, oftentimes. He that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. What does the writer mean? Solomon in his old age. What does he mean? That's somebody who has seen, he says there's nothing new under the sun. He has seen the days of his youth. Where he experienced love, young love. He grew into and grew through Proverbs and into Ecclesiastes, and he's now saying, and this is the why as he he asked God for wisdom. He asked God for an understanding heart to be able to lead the people of God. And in his old age, he's saying that in much wisdom, the wisdom that I asked God for, the the the awareness that I have asked God for, I've asked God to open my eyes. I've asked God to show me things. Lord, give me visions, give me dreams. A lot of us have done that. And here's here's Solomon who who got the wisdom that he asked for. He dreamed dreams and saw visions. And he's saying that in much wisdom can be much grief. He that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. Why? Because oftentimes you can be burdened by wisdom. You can be burdened by awareness. Now, watch this. Watch out, watch where we're taking this. As I have gained awareness now, I can't, I'm not comfortable doing the things that I used to do. Oh Lord, help me now. We're going somewhere. As my awareness to how God wants me to live has grown, as I study my word, as I live for him, as I look to please God in all my ways, my awareness of him has grown. And as my awareness of God has grown, I can't go places I used to go comfortably anymore. I can't hang with people who are doing certain things comfortably anymore. I feel the conviction of God now more than I used to when I was less aware. I grew up, you guys know me by now. You know my story. You know that you know that I've I grew up in church. You know I grew up in church, right? I grew up hearing the preaching of the gospel. Not many people have are blessed to say that. That they they were booked. My mother's water broke in church, pregnant with me. And my father had to rush her to the hospital. I believe it was on a Monday, if I'm not mistaken, prayer meeting. I could be wrong about the details, but her water broke in church, and I've been there my whole life. And over the years, when I I can I can think back to when I was younger, and I can think back and remember hearing the word of God, knowing, okay, this is what's right from wrong, okay, cool. But I didn't have the awareness level that I have now. I'm still hearing, see, the word of God has never changed. God is the all, listen, all glory and all honor is due unto God, the one who was, even from before the beginning. Whatever you and I know to be the beginning, which we know that in the beginning, God, in the beginning was God. And in the beginning of in our beginning, God created the earth after he created the heavens and before he created the heavens. God just was. God is eternal. So that means God was before the beginning. If God created the beginning, that means he was before the beginning. Come on, somebody, talk to me. If he created the beginning, that means he was before the beginning. Before the foundations of anything we know. Before anything you have learned. Whatever that is for you, whatever you believe to be true, before that was God.

Speaker:

Alright. So and I don't want to get too we we already at like 30 minutes, right?

Speaker 1:

So, but guys, the awareness level that I have gained even from back in those days when I was younger, where I am now, what I see, that same word of God that is unchanging. It's the same word of God that I used to hear growing up, it's the same word of God that I preach today. It didn't mean as much to me when I was younger. Because I hadn't gained the level of awareness that I needed to yet.

Speaker:

As a child, you thought as a child, but now as you grow, as you get older, your awareness ought to grow.

Speaker 1:

It's supposed to grow. And as your awareness level grows, I need to encourage somebody today. Moving into 2026, as your awareness level grows, you need to grow with it. As your awareness level grows, you need to grow with it. Because just because we're aware of something doesn't mean we're gonna do something about it. Alright? Just because somebody knows what's right from wrong, people still choose in wrong every day.

Speaker:

I'm speaking to somebody right now.

Speaker 1:

I feel I feel I I feel I see somebody in the spirit right now. Just because you know what you should be doing doesn't mean you're gonna do it, does it now? We we've all been there. So just because I have an increased level of awareness, that does not mean that I'm going to accept the increased level of responsibility. But I'm here to tell you going into 2026, it is time to accept the increased level of responsibility and the increased level of accountability.

Speaker:

That is where your growth comes from. That's where your growth comes from.

Speaker 1:

You want to be a better person, you want to be the best version of yourself, the best version of yourself does not come from you staying where you're comfortable. The version of you that God wants you to be, which is who you truly are. Not you don't, you know, all right now, I don't want to do this right now. But you finding yourself is not who God wants you to be.

Speaker:

That's self, that's flesh. Oh Lord help me.

Speaker 1:

I often say that God is making me into the person that my wife and my family need me to be. The person that they need me to be is the one who God is making me, and I can only grow into that person. One, once I gain the level of awareness to know, all right, this is what I need to be doing, and then now accepting that responsibility. I accept it, and now it's time for me to carry it out. So going into 2026, family, we're just about done here. We're crossing over again. I don't know if this will be the last episode, the last chronicle for the year. All I know is we're crossing over.

Speaker:

And as that happens, as that happens, your awareness has grown all year long.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what needs to happen for somebody to make that change. I don't know what needs to happen for somebody to finally say, okay, Lord, here I am. I don't know what needs, what, what, what needs to happen. I often hear my pastor sing a song. It says, Too late, too late. Mercy gone now. If I would have known, oh Lord, if I would have known, I would have prayed. If I would have known, I would have read my word. If I would have known, I would have listened to you when you were calling. Bible says, seek the Lord while he may be found. If I had known, Lord, I would have sought you while you were here to be found, while you were calling me. Song says, You're calling my name to come into your arms to be safe from fear and harm. Knowing this, I knew this, but I still chose to go my own way. And you still say, you say that I'm yours. I or better yet, you say that I am he, he who supplies my every need. And Lord, I still hear you calling my name. I still hear you calling my name. How many times does it take for me to learn? How many times must I go against his will?

Speaker:

And yet I still turn around and do the things I shouldn't do. Y'all know that song. But I belong to you. Come on, we belong to him.

Speaker 1:

And he's calling us. He's calling us. If you don't get anything from this message, I need you to understand that God is calling you, He's calling you into awareness, He's calling you through His grace every single day. Big shout out to my sister, Minister Crystal Blackwood, who came and preached for us on you Sunday last week. Came and preached for us and preached a powerful message about grace. Grace. God's grace. Grace that can pardon and cleanse. With God's grace was the topic. And that's that's the grace of God over our lives, brothers and sisters. It's the grace of God. For unto us a child is born. For unto us that son, the son of God was given. The one who was, the one who is, the one who is to come. In the beginning was he. Jesus was from the beginning. In the beginning was Jesus. And the word Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. From the beginning, from the very foundation of the world. That grace, that grace was in mind. God knew we couldn't do it ourselves. And so he came for us. He was born. He came. And his name is now called wonderful. His name is Counselor. His name is the mighty God. His name is the everlasting Father. His name is the Prince of Peace. He's my redeemer. He's my Lord. He's my God. He's my savior. And the grace of God is bestowed upon me each and every single day. And I'm grateful. I'm grateful. So, brothers, sisters, those of you who believe, those of you who do not believe, I'm here to tell you that God loves you. He cares for you.

Speaker:

And although some of us have rejected him, he has not rejected us.

Speaker 1:

So gain. Gain the world. But don't lose your souls. Don't lose your soul. I pray this message finds you. And if you get to the end of it, and you get to this point, I want to say thank you. Thank you for everything. Thank you for all your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for the phone calls. Thank you for the text messages. Thank you for the likes, the reshares. The downloads, the subscribes.

Speaker:

Thank you for sharing it. Thank you for your support.

Speaker 1:

But I want you to know that it means nothing if your level of awareness is not growing. So continue to grow, my brothers, my sisters. Continue to support us. We're going to keep doing this together. This may or may not be the last chronicle of this year 2025. But I love you. So know that. And know that we're not stopping anytime soon. We're not stopping anytime soon. Increased level of awareness means you have an increased responsibility to do better. I love you. God bless you. Until next time, this is the Moral Compass Chronicles.
