What's going on everybody ? This is Eon J . Welcome to another rendition of the Moral Compass Chronicles . Another day , another chronicle , another week , another month . It's been about a month . It's been about a month , man , and I am here , I am back .

I quite honestly , man , I have had so much going on , there has been so much going on in my life and I am grateful to say that I counted all joy . I counted all joy , the good , the bad . I counted all joy , even when I fall into unfortunate situations . I have gotten to a place in my life where I have learned how to count it all joy , as Paul says . I've learned how to remain content in whatever state I find myself to be in . All right , and it's so funny . I feel like I mentioned that recently as well on one of these chronicles . I'm not even sure , but I'm just grateful , man . I'm grateful to be here , grateful to be able to lock in here yet again and speak to you all , speak to the world here yet again and speak to you all . Speak to the world . I know we're listening from many , many different places and I'm just super grateful for each and every one of you that find me and find this podcast , from wherever you are , from the East Coast of the United States to the West coast , canada , europe , the Caribbean I think I saw a South America in there somewhere and I'm just super grateful , man . I'm super grateful . So many things that I want to talk about and so many things that I am doing . I'm a certified mediator . At this point in my life , continuing my education . As far as that's concerned , I found myself starting a business around mediation and consulting as well , and so this is something that I am doing regularly . I'm here on the podcast , speaking to you here , um , in my free time . Right , this is this is something I'm doing because I felt led to do Um , but God has given me a business as well , and a long time ago .

It's so funny how you look back and you recognize that you are in the middle of a blessing . If I can be cliche , you're in the middle of a blessing that you once prayed for , right , that ever happened to you when , at one point in your life , you find yourself praying . You find yourself at a crossroads . You're not sure what to do . You know what you want to do , but you're not sure what direction to go in . You feel leading in some way , shape or form , you pull the trigger on something . You look up , five years has passed and you realize that you are living in a prayer that was answered a significant time ago . That ever happened to you . Because this right here , this , what you are experiencing right now , is an answered prayer . This is an answered prayer , this is direction from God that you are a part of right now .

The business that I have started , the podcasting , all the videos and the content that I've been creating , and the one-on-one consultations just about life . I'm not a business consultant , I'm not a . I'm a life consultant . I don't even want to call myself a life coach , um , but that is what I do .

And I remember I didn't know where to start at one point in my life . It wow , it's so funny that this is the road , this is the direction I'm going in , because this is literally the topic for today's episode , today's Chronicle . It's so funny . I just I didn't even mean to go into that spiel , but I did that and unknowingly I just went into that and it's literally going to segue right into exactly , or exactly what the topic is for today . And so I remember I didn't know what direction to go in at one point . I wasn't sure what direction to go in .

Living in an Answered Prayer

was a time where I I I saw podcasting as audio and then , you know , I have the videos that I was creating and putting on Instagram . Lord , do I go in that route ? Do I go on in that direction ? Do I start the podcast ? Do I start the mediation and consulting business ?

And I remember exactly where I was . I was in a Staples parking lot . I was at the Staples on Utica Ave , utica and Kings Highway , over there for my people in Brooklyn , and I was waiting for my then girlfriend . She was in the Staples , I was in the parking lot and I had been praying for a significant amount of time . I'd been praying for a significant amount of time and in that parking lot , god gave me the revelation of how all three of these things will be combined into one and how I was so torn between what do I start . What do I start ? What do I start ? And then my um , all the things that I do on the side , right , trading , and , um , uh , different little businesses , different ways I earn money . Right , lord , what do I focus on ? Do I focus on these little things ? And I remember one of those things was starting a vending machine company . That was one of the things I was considering . I haven't started that yet , but I put that in the same bucket as one of those things that I will be doing to make money at some point . Right ? So , lord , do I start with the bucket of things ? Right ? The podcast and the content creation , or the mediation and consulting business ? What direction do I go in ? And in that very parking lot , god gave me the revelation , no pun intended , but how the three would become one , how the three would work hand in hand as one .

And it was up to me at that point to just start it , just start . It was up to me at that point . Do I continue to drag my feet ? Do I continue to be torn between everything to the point where I don't make a decision ? Right ? Because , let's be honest , a lot of us have . Some of us call it analysis , paralysis , and some of us call it paralysis by overanalysis . Right , overanalysis , paralysis or paralysis by overanalysis ? Do I sit here and continue to overanalyze things ? I know what I wanna do , I know the things that I have to do . Do I continue to drag my feet and waste time valuable time let's be honest , time is probably the most valuable asset Time , health or do I start somewhere ? And at that moment I realized yo , I just gotta start , bro , I have to start , I have to start .

So I started with the videos and and making some videos . Wasn't doing full podcasts yet , just little like you know . You know five , six , seven minute long joints . Chopped them up , started putting them on Instagram and TikTok whatever . I didn't even start with TikTok yet . Started with that , created the podcast , eventually , pull the trigger on that . Now I'm doing two of those things . Right , because now actually I'm doing the same thing , except I started the podcast , and so now the audio is going to the podcast and I'm still doing the videos and the content creation .

Started my business eventually , the mediation and consulting business and when I look up , I look now from those two , three years ago however long ago that was , and I am living in the middle of that answered prayer when God finally gave me that revelation . And the truth is , I didn't start all at once . You can't do more than one thing at the same time . For real , for real . You know . You know what I mean , but you got to start somewhere . You got to start somewhere . So that leads me to the topic . The topic for today , for real , for real , is yo , we just got to do it . I don't even know what I'm going to name this episode , bro , that doesn't matter . If I can borrow the slogan from Nike just do it . It just has to be done . You have to start somewhere . You know what you got going on .

Some of us are in school . Some of us are working . Some of us , you're working a job . You know nine to five vibes . Some of us , you know some of us are working . Some of us , you're working a job . You know the 9 to 5 vibes . Some of us , you know you own a business . Some people are doing both the gym , working out , eating healthy . Some of us making life changes , changing your circle around , like I could go . The list could go on and on . Sometimes , the answer , bro , is just starting . You just got to start , you just got to do it . I always tell people because I'm somebody who has to have a lot of tough conversations

The Revelation: When Three Become One

, uncomfortable conversations , and I know people don't , we don't , we don't enjoy , um , tough conversations . Right , typically people don't usually enjoy having that tough conversation , having that that uncomfortable conversation connecting with someone who maybe you don't know very well . A lot of us are more comfortable talking to someone that we already know , right ? So if you're someone who does networking , we all look forward to networking . For those of us who are in that into that sort of thing , we look forward to networking . But we can agree that the networking sometimes can be uncomfortable , right ? Some of us are in church . You start a new job . Some of y'all are in high school , middle school , first day of school . You're going to a new school , graduate high school . You're going to college . Shout out to my little sister that just graduated college had one graduate last year . One graduated this year . Another one graduated high school this year . Another one's graduating college next year . We're moving through these different phases of our life .

It is extremely uncomfortable sometimes to have to start a conversation with somebody that you do not know and , god forbid , it starts off a little awkward , right , extremely uncomfortable for us . I always tell people that anytime I have to like call somebody , I know I have to call them , right , you're on my schedule to call you or I have a call list sometimes where I know I got to reach out to certain people for specific things . Whatever the case may be , if I have to reach out to somebody to check on them right , I'm a minister at my church youth president Sometimes I may have to like reach out to somebody who I'm not used to talking to , and this is full transparency . If y'all haven't realized , this is my podcast , right , and it's about full transparency . I tell all myself on here too . Okay , sometimes it's uncomfortable , but anytime I'm like , oh god , I don't want to take this phone call . I have this meeting on my schedule , bro , with somebody and I do not want to talk to them for whatever reason , whether I'm not having a good day or this person and me really just don't like vibe , like that . I'm unsure how the conversation is going to go . Me and this person are at odds and there's something we have to work out . And you're , like you know , typically when you got to work something out with somebody , tend to avoid . Oh lord , I'm sorry , I didn't mean to go there . You tend to avoid them . We've talked about that on here before right . We avoid the tough conversation anytime I am put in that position and I realize that I've been dragging my feet for a little too long .

I know we're looking for , we're looking for some sort of like mystical enlightenment where , you know , I prayed for , for my , for my believers . I prayed and I'm seeking the Lord and you're looking for the voice of God to thunder from the heavens to tell you what to do . And , yes , there are times you need to wait , but I'm really talking to those people who already got your answer for real . Yo , sometimes the answer is just doing it , you just got to do it , bro . So , if I know I have to call somebody , and I know the conversation is going to be uncomfortable or I don't really want to do it any , I will literally pick my phone up . No , I'm there like cursing at myself on the inside , like , oh my god , right , I will pick my phone up , go to my contact list . I will go to the person's name . I will click on their name as I'm like really cursing myself , as I'm like what's the word ? Cringing ? As I'm cringing on the inside . This is my secret . Anybody want some help with communicating ? Let's talk about communication and accountability . This is the moral compass chronicles . Baby , you want to know my secret ? I go to their name , click on it as I'm cringing and uncomfortable on the inside . I click on the number and the phone starts ringing on the inside . I click on the number and the phone starts ringing , surprise , and the phone rings and it rings and guess what ? I would say like 60% of the time the person answers the phone . And then guess what ? Now I'm having a conversation .

Now we are having a conversation , whether I like it or not , whether I want to or not , whether I want to or not whether you want to or not . You answer the phone when I call you . Now we're having a conversation and we are talking now and nine times out of ten , all of them butterflies , the uncomfortability , the awkwardness , it goes right out the window . Next thing you know , we've been on the phone for a half hour . Next thing you know , the problem is worked out and we good now . Next thing , you know , we solving whatever issue needs to be solved .

for some of this , for most all of this stuff right , and once I have it all , then I sort of like decide what I want to go with if I'm not feeling led with . I got a whole topic list , bro , and I'm like all right , lord , which direction should I go in ? And sometimes he makes it real clear . But sometimes I'm like all right , I mean , he's the one that gave me the idea at some point . So now I'm gonna just pick one , I'm gonna just pick one , I'm gonna just pick , I'm gonna just see which direction am I leaning toward . And I'm gonna just pick one . That anxiety one , though that one had been burning a hole in my stomach for as long as I've been hearing that song to like even getting on here right now as you listen to this . This was a decision . It's been .

It's been over a month since the last chronicle , april 12th , and I've been so busy , so busy Since then , haven't found time To get on here . But please believe , the work hasn't stopped . The work hasn't stopped . The praying hasn't stopped . The studying hasn't stopped . The mediation hasn't stopped . The consulting hasn't stopped . Truth is , the podcasting hasn't stopped , it just hasn't been recorded . That's the truth . This , right here , I'm doing this with someone several times a day , every single day . I'm not going to lie , I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to video editing , so that it takes me a lot of time to edit stuff , whereas like a professional , it'll be much quicker for them . So eventually I'm going to hire an editor , bro , because I ain't gonna lie , man , editing is tough . It's tough . It's tough , especially the way I want stuff to look and be clean and , honestly , it ain't even what I want it to be right now . What I want it to be , I'm not even capable of making it that right now . I just can't afford an editor like consistently right now . And that's okay , I will get there . There will be somebody editing my content soon , because once I'm able to hire somebody , bro , I'm not doing it , I'm not doing it .

I would have to drop the quality significantly in order to get the same product that I'm putting out now , which already isn't that great . You know what I'm saying . It's already like amateur vibes , and that's okay . I'm owning it , I'm walking in it and I'm doing it . I'm doing it . I'm walking in it and I'm doing it . I'm doing it . But you know what ? The editing be eating me alive and I could be doing more . I could be doing more editing , but because of how difficult it is and because of how much time it takes , I kind of put it off . I have so much more content I could be putting out if I actually put the time into editing . So you know what I'm going to . This is my personal . This is me personally holding myself accountable For doing more editing . And this is now .

I sent people to come and help you . I sent someone to your . You prayed and I sent somebody to your rescue . You prayed and you prayed and I sent somebody to your rescue . You prayed and you prayed and I sent help , and you weren't listening , you weren't paying attention , you didn't recognize my voice , you didn't recognize my help , and now you're dead . I don't know who that's for , but some of us are drowning in our own waters and God has continued to send help and you just don't recognize

Prioritize and Write the Vision

it . You're looking for your help to come in a specific way . You're looking for your answer . Let's go back to that . You're looking for your answer to come in a specific way . You're looking for your answer . Let's go back to that . You're looking for your answer to come in a certain way and it's not coming in the way that you think it's going to come . The answer is not . It's not . It's not coming to you the answer the way you thought it would , and so you're not receiving it as an answer , but I'm here to tell you today that God speaks in multiple ways and God is always speaking . The question is one are we listening ? And two , do we know the ways in which God is speaking to us ? Do we know what it sounds like ? So some of us have already gotten our answer , some of us have already been given our direction . Some of us already we've already been told and led to go in a specific direction . Allow this to be your confirmation and I ain't talking to the people who just they want to do what they want to do , even though they know it's not good for them , and they still want to keep doing it . This is not your confirmation that you should keep doing that . I'm talking to the people who are doing things the right way , the moral way , the morally sound way , and you're seeking what it's time to find . You're knocking , the door's being answered , it's being opened unto you and it's time for you to do your part . It's time for you to do your part . You got to do your part . You got to do your part , all right . So listen , man , I hope this has been helpful for somebody on today . Um , I really just came on here to just chop it up with you . Talk a little bit .
