Speaker 1:I'm grateful to have another opportunity to just come on and speak to the people, speak to the masses. Man, the downloads are growing, the subscribers and the views, and I'm just grateful, man. I'm thankful for each and every one of you guys, whoever you are. I love you, I appreciate you and I just pray that you continue to rock with me and you just go with me on this journey. I'm your tour guide and I believe that God is doing something real special here with all of us together, together. We're going to do this together, all right, and today I have a very difficult topic to talk about.
Speaker 1:This is actually this has been the most difficult episode for me to record, the most difficult topic for me to get into, because this was not my plan. This was not my plan. Plan Um, this was not my plan I I have a running list of topics and I have so many things I want to talk about and I just could not decide on what I wanted to do next. I couldn't decide. I wasn't being led by God in any specific direction until he was, like yo, my son, it's time. And so here I am and I have a very, very, very wonderful message here today for us, and, as wonderful as it is, it is difficult for me. So, even as you are listening to this, feel free to pray for me as I'm going. How I'm led, perceives truth, and how a lot of us may even focus on the wrong truth, which is which would be our truth and the truth of ourselves and, um, what we want and what we like, and so on, so forth. But I really want to talk about the truth here today and the truth, the way, the truth, the life, is god.
Speaker 1:And there's a song that says do you know the name of the father? Do you know the name of the son? Do you know the name of the holy spirit? Don't you know the three or one? Well, that's what the word tells us, and that's what I want to talk about here today, because his name is Jesus and his name is Jesus and a lot of people may not like that name. How do I know that? You say the name Jesus in a train station, at the airport, you walk down the street and you say the name Jesus and you will start to shake up the things that are not of God, that are within some of the people outside and in this world. You breathe the name of Jesus in this earth, in this atmosphere, and things begin to happen, Um, and I'm going to really really try to keep myself here in check and in line here, um, because I am a minister of the gospel and I don't want to get too, uh, emotional or too hyped up.
Speaker 1:I want to try to you know cool it just a little bit, or too hyped up. I want to try to you know cool it just a little bit, okay, um, and I want to present this message in a way that can be digestible to everyone. Now, before I really get going, I want to make it clear that I am. I understand that not everybody believes what I know to be the truth. There are many people, I have a lot of friends, I have family, who they know the name Jesus, but they don't believe in God. Maybe some of them, and some of them don't believe in some of them don't believe the truth the way I know it to be true, true, um, I know a lot of people who follow the word of God, but not to a T. They, they, a lot of people, have taken scripture and portions of it and they have created their own idea of who God is. Um, I don't want to get too far into that, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I understand that not everybody believes what I believe and what I know to be true, and that's okay. Okay, I'm going to speak on a specific thing here today and I I'm grateful that I have this opportunity to have to be the owner and the creator of this particular podcast, and you want to know more about Eon Johnson's moral compass and how I have the direction I have. I believe there is a morally correct and a morally sound way for me to live my life and for me to go about my everyday living right. This is it, this is it for me, this is it for Eon Johnson, this is what it is. All right, it's Jesus and Jesus alone.
Speaker 1:Okay, now the truth about God. God is real. God is very, very real, and I know there are many people who don't believe that, and you know some of us. You got a lot of people who don't believe it. Then you have a lot of us who believe it, but it's not a real thing for us because if it were, a lot of us wouldn't be living the type of lives that we are living. I've I grew up with a lot of brothers and sisters who they grew up the way I did in the church, hearing the truth. Yet they find themselves able and even me at some point. We have found ourselves able to sort of just wake up in the morning and live however we want to and do whatever we want to do. That is how I know this conversation has not.
Speaker 1:It's not true and real and it is not of importance, or what's the word I'm looking for? There's a word I'm looking for here, but it's not, it's, it's not at the forefront of our mind, it is not pert. It's not a dire thing for us. Had it been, then we would be, uh, moving much differently. I know that to be true. Um it. There is no eminent, um, I don't even want to go that route, but I think you get what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 1:But God is real. My brothers, my sisters, if you are under the sound of my voice, whether you believe it or not, whether you like it or not, god is real and he is true. True, everything starts with God. I mean from the beginning, when what we know to be the beginning, god already was. Okay, I heard Jesus say before Abraham was, I am, I am not just I was, but I am. And we know God. In the Old Testament, a lot of us may know he referred to himself as the I am that I am. And we know God. In the old Testament, a lot of us may know he referred to himself as the I am that I am. So I need somebody to know that God is real. Everything starts and ends with him.
Speaker 1:Okay, um, I could go on and on about the greatness, the goodness of God in the land of this living that we are in, and how he is holy, he's just, he is, he is righteous, he is right and and correct in all of his ways. He is the ultimate judge, he's the jury, he's the executioner. Uh, he, he is the creator of all things. There is nothing that was made that he has not made, okay, and he has commissioned and he has ordained all things that exist and everything that we know to be real. Look around the room right now. Look outside If you're driving, if you're walking this entire creation that we have come to know and come to understand. We have traveled the world and we have experienced the beauty of this world. Many have let me not say many, but, yes, many. Maybe we don't know many of them, but there are many people who have left this world and have gone up into space and have seen the moon and the stars, and they have seen the sun from a distance and they have seen other planets. I need us to understand that God is the creator of all everything that we know, of all everything that we know, and there is so much more that we don't know than we do than that we do know. Okay, um, we. We live in a world where people want us to believe that there are other things that created these things that we know, and I don't want to go too far down that road. I'm glad that God has given me this podcast, as I was saying before, and so there will be time, if we are granted time, I have an opportunity to address those who don't believe and who believe otherwise, and so on, so forth. Oh man, I can't wait to go into some of the stuff that I have here for us, but I want to try to stay here on track.
Speaker 1:God is everything, guys. God is everything and he was from the very beginning. The word of God tells me that in the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth, and I and I want you to know the earth was without form and there was darkness across the face of everything, and God said let there be light. I need you to understand that. He spoke that word and then there was light. He spoke that word and existence became existent.
Speaker 1:Okay, okay, god does not operate within the bounds of time and space and matter and perception the way you and I do. Our minds cannot grasp and hold all that God truly is. We are only privy to what he has revealed unto us. And it is clear to me, thank you Lord it is clear to me that God has not revealed the truth about who he is to everyone. That is clear, okay, and furthermore, watch this the truth about who he is. It is there for everyone, but everyone has not taken it for themselves and thus further revelation has not been able to be given unto you. Okay, um, this is the truth of who god is all, and I need somebody to know that name Jesus. That name holds uh, it holds a lot of significance. There is much significance in the name Jesus I. I need somebody to know that.
Speaker 1:I just quoted Genesis, chapter one and verse one on, and I need you to know that Jesus was there from the beginning. I'm really going to try to power through this, because I could go on and on. This has potential to be the longest episode thus far, the way I'm feeling it right now. Okay, jesus was there from the beginning. Jesus was not an afterthought, jesus was not. Oh Lord, help me. Jesus was there from the beginning.
Speaker 1:If you go to John, the book of St John, chapter one and verse one, now, I was talking about the fact that a lot of us, we don't take the full word of God for what it is, the fact that a lot of us, we don't take the full word of God for what it is. A lot of us have picked and choose what parts of the word we want to utilize and we want to quote now in the beginning. This is St John, chapter one, in the beginning. So let me stop right there. This verse and this chapter is referring to Jesus, because Jesus now is born. And I don't want to get too ahead of myself because I wanted to go into what we're seeing and I'm going to get there, but I just need somebody to know that Jesus was there from the beginning.
Speaker 1:St John, chapter one. It says in the beginning was the word, that word is Jesus. By the way, that word is referring to Jesus. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Okay, so in the beginning Jesus was. Jesus was there from the beginning. It says the word was with God. So Jesus was with God in the beginning. And then it goes on to say and the word was God.
Speaker 1:So you tell me what that means? All right, the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. All right. So I don't know who's confused. I'm not sure if we completely understand what that is saying. Okay, we know Jesus to be the son of God, but I need somebody to understand that Jesus is the son of God in the flesh, but he's God himself In creation. All right, I need us to understand. Jesus was there from the beginning. He was there with God and the word was God. Okay, all things were made by him and without him, there was nothing made. That was made, and I'll go.
Speaker 1:I'll go a little deeper into that in a little bit, but while I'm here, I need us to know that, uh, the, the prophets this is who the prophets spoke of. This is who Moses spoke of. This is, this is who. This is who the prophet, isaiah and Jeremiah this is who they spoke of. David this is who he spoke of.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, from the very beginning up until the New Testament, if you have the revelation that you need to have, jesus is who they were speaking of. He was the one who was promised and it was for a reason, and this is good news. I need somebody to know. This is good news, this is good news. This is good news. This is good news. All right, and again, I don't want to get too ahead of myself because I'm already. I'm already. I'm already at about 15 minutes here. I don't know how I got here already, but this is who God is. This is who God is. All right, and you mentioned God, you mentioned Jesus, jesus, you're looking for Jesus. That's where you'll find God. If you're looking for God, you're going to see Jesus. All right, if you go down to that, that, that same chapter, go down to verse 14,.
Speaker 1:St John one in the beginning was the word. The word was with God and the word was God. If you go down to verse 10, as a matter of fact, it'll tell you that Jesus was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him. Not Verse 14,. If you continue, it goes on to say that the Word was made flesh. That's Jesus. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the father. He was full of grace and full of what? Full of truth. That's what we're talking about, right truth. We're talking about truth. This is the truth.
Speaker 1:The prophet Isaiah spoken, said, for unto us a child is born, unto us A son is given and the government will be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called wonderful, his name shall be called counselor. Wonderful, his name shall be called Counselor. His name shall be called the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Jesus was the Father in creation, true and living God. In him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily, all that. The Godhead is all that God is. I detailed it. I went in. I told you that God is the creator of all things. Well, guess what that's who Jesus is. God is the creator of all things. Well, guess what that's who Jesus is.
Speaker 1:In Genesis, chapter one, if you go down to verse 26, and this is a scripture that you'll hear people mention and debating and so on and so forth, it says let us make man in our own image. Let us make man. So let us make man in our own image, right, and so people wanna know. Well, that's how you know that there's more than one person there. Well, that's because Jesus was there from the beginning. If you go down to the very next verse, verse 27, and I was preaching one time and this came out If you go right down to the next verse, you want to know the answer to that verse where the Bible says let us make man in our own image. So God has to be speaking to someone else, right, go down to the very next verse. It says so God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him. So let us make man in our own image. So guess what? God created man in his own image. What is that image? What does it look like? What is the image that God created man in His own image? And if you want to know what that looks like, it's Jesus. It's Jesus.
Speaker 1:If you go to Colossians, chapter one, verse 15, it says that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Now we know God is a spirit. Those that worship him. You got to worship him in spirit. And what Spirit and truth. And this is telling you that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, for by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created by him and for him. And he is before all things and by him all things consist.
Speaker 1:Yo, this is not where I plan to go. This is not how I thought it was gonna go. This is not the notes that I took down. This is not how I was supposed to go at all. But god is good. I need you to know god is real, this thing is not a joke. And again, I can address, you know, all those who don't believe, and so on and so forth. We can get, I'll get there. I think this is more of a conversation for those who know that this thing is real and I'm. I guess I'm just here to shed some light on the truth about this thing. But that's who God is and he's wonderful, marvelous, and it is our job to acknowledge that.
Speaker 1:Now we live in a world. We live in a world and I kind of wanted to get here and I didn't think it was going to take me this long to get here. But we're living in a time and in a world where man it's the Bible tells us of, of what is happening right now where the hearts and minds of of men and women everywhere have been deceived and we've got evil, evil, I mean, my God. Just Romans, chapter one, tells me about people being inventors of new evil. This world has become so evil that we are still inventing new evil. That's what you're seeing Wars and killing, and I mean people just pushing people in front of trains for no reason. I mean, this is an evil world we're living in.
Speaker 1:But I thank God that I'm reminded in Colossians that God is in charge of everything in the heavens and in the earth. And I want to take a little side note. The book of 1 John I believe it's chapter 5 or something tells me that there are three that bear record in heaven the Father, the Word, which is Jesus, and the Spirit. And the three are one. I don't know who needs to hear that, but the three are one. The three are one.
Speaker 1:And I was saying I'm talking about the evil that's going on. I thank God that he is still. He is still in charge In heaven and earth For things that are visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, principalities, powers, evil, demons, devils the name of Jesus. Every knee bows, demons tremble at the name of Jesus, and so I'm thankful that I have that name in my heart. I know God for myself, I have a relationship with him, I have his spirit flowing through me. His spirit is a revealer of all things and I am grateful. I am grateful that I have that relationship and we are living in a world where there are people who do not have that. There are people who do not want it.
Speaker 1:There's so many things going on, people are saying so many things and you hear so many different philosophies and ideologies and these different things I'm told in. I'm not sure where it is exactly, but I know it's Paul telling us to beware, either Paul or Peter. Beware lest any man spoil you through strange philosophy and vain deceit, the traditions of men and the rudiments of this world, and not after Christ, he says. I think that's Colossians. Peter tells us about false prophets that are among the people, false prophets that were among the people, false prophets that were among the people, he says, even as there shall be false teachers among you, these false teachers are going to be bringing in these different philosophies and these winds of doctrine, damnable heresies, and they're going to bring destruction upon themselves.
Speaker 1:So and Romans? Paul is telling us in Romans about people who profess themselves to be wise and they make themselves fools, and how people have changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image like unto corruptible men. And it says so much more and I just like, I just don't want to go too far down that rabbit hole, but I thank God that I know who he is and this is that sin that we, we I could go into that that that is now the issue, and it has been the issue since the beginning of mankind, when sin entered in. And the truth is, all of us have failed to live up to the glory of God, all of us, we've all. The Bible says we've all sinned.
Speaker 1:In Romans also. I believe we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory. But I thank God for his grace and his mercy that, even when we, we, we make the glory of God look worthless and and we, we don't hold up the standard that we ought to. We, we have dishonored God in so many ways, and and you know, the truth is we do it without knowing it. That sin is not all, it's not about stuff, that it's not all about stuff that we do, that we know we are inherently sinful by nature. That is our nature and and and that is why, throughout history, men and women, we have just sinned and sinned and we have gone against God. I mean throughout history.
Speaker 1:You go back to Genesis. All throughout the Bible talks about how we've done right in the sight of God, and then we turn around and do evil in the sight of God, all of us continuously. It's like a revolving door of God, all of us continuously. It's like a revolving door of of sin, and the Bible tells us the wages of sin is death, right, but the gift of God is eternal life. And so God, he saw. He saw that you and I would never be able to live up to that standard that he wanted for us. It's not even possible. I think it became clear. It's not even possible.
Speaker 1:God revealing himself to us and his plan of salvation for our souls has always been Jesus. That was always a part of him. Him revealing himself to us and the truth of who he is, the truth of who he is, his plan for our salvation, so that we would be able to inherit eternal life with him. That has always been a part of God's plan in the form of Jesus Christ. And the further and further you get into the word of God, after you know more and more revelation and the gifting of the Holy spirit. That's the more truth that is revealed of who Jesus is, and that is revealed of who Jesus is. And so that plan of salvation for our souls, because of our inherently sinful nature and our inability to remain without sin, that's where Jesus comes in, in that's where he comes in. And and he was born and came into the world.
Speaker 1:God took of himself, and again, just like in genesis 20s, in genesis 1, 26 and 27, right, he knew that the image of man was going to be the image of Jesus. That's the image that he had of himself for us, and the goal for us was to live that perfect life the way Jesus did. And we have been unable to do so From Adam and Eve. We have been unable to do that. We have been unable to live the perfect life. So then Jesus comes into the world and lives that perfect life and shows us how to do it world and lives that perfect life and shows us how to do it, shows us what it's supposed to look like. But guess what you and I will never be able to attain, that. We'll never be able to reach that benchmark. Jesus was the standard and we have never been able to live up to that and we will never be able to live up to that. And so Jesus took that upon himself, the sins of the world, took it upon himself and bled and died and rose from the dead to prove and show his divinity so that that plan of salvation for our souls could be made whole and made complete.
Speaker 1:Beautiful, I mean, just a beautiful thing. And when you have a relationship with the Lord for yourself, you start to understand how real this is, start to understand how real this is. That's sometimes. That's why I don't blame I don't even blame people sometimes who don't know the Lord and don't believe what I know to be the truth, because this has to find you to some degree. The Bible tells me that no man comes to God unless he draws them. He's the one that does the drawing Right and so and I know that he will draw you some way or another, and so that's why we put our faith in Jesus Tells us that I and the father are one. If you're looking for me, you're going to see the father. You look at me. You and the father are one. If you're looking for me, you're going to see the father. You look at me, you see the father. You're looking for the father, you're going to see me. That was Jesus's energy man.
Speaker 1:I'm grateful for the free gift of God, which is eternal life, and it's for each and every one of us, and there's no more condemnation for those of us who are in Christ. We put our faith and our trust in Jesus that the work he did on the cross it's finished, it's finished, it's finished, it's finished. And I me being a sinner, who I struggle every single day, I fall short every single day, I am now able to be called a son of God. I am now able to experience that love of God, that free gift of God, even here on earth, and I'm, and I'm, I'm eternally, eternally grateful. I, man, there's so much there's, and this, and I don't know if, if you probably understand those of you who know you understand what I mean when I say this is the.
Speaker 1:This has been the most difficult topic to really to really talk about, but I I pray that the message has come across. God created us to be with him and to enjoy this work of his hands, and it was our sin that separated us from God and our sins couldn't be removed by our good deeds. Even the law, the law wasn't enough. The law of Moses that God gave to Moses for us and for the Jews, really it wasn't enough, and that's why Jesus had to come and pay that price for our sin one time. He did that one thing and that paid the price for our sins, both past, present and future sins, as long as I accept him into my life and I put my trust in him, in jesus and in jesus alone. John, we all know john 3.16, right For God, so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that he that believeth on him should not perish but will have everlasting life. And all I've got to do is believe on him and put my trust in him. And all I've got to do is believe on him and put my trust in him, and then now my life with Jesus can begin and it's going to last forever. Man, what a wonderful thing to be free from sin, man, and have Christ within.
Speaker 1:So, hey, man, I, I, this, this is um. I believe this is an ongoing conversation. There's so many elements to this man and, um, I again, I, I, man, I didn't even know where to start. But it's like you start, you look up and it's, it's, it's a half hour, it's 40 minutes already, and I'm like man, I don't even understand how that happened. But there's so much to this conversation and so many different elements and you know what. We can come back to it and I can talk about it from different angles and I can give my, even my testimony and and the things that God has done for me. But it's I, man.
Speaker 1:I have seen how real God is for myself, to the point where it can't. You can't tell me that God is not real, bro, and you can't tell me that his name is not Jesus. And because God is not stupid. You don't think God understood how times would change and, oh, my goodness, I don't even know. I probably should have led with this, but you know what it is time, everything in its own time. You don't think that God knew how times would change, the creator of everything, how time would change, how language barriers wouldn't be a problem for much longer.
Speaker 1:You, you got people who who want to believe that. You know, I can't, I can't, people can't. Some people say to them, so they can't take the bible for for for what it says, and can't believe the word of god because, oh, there were books of the Bible removed whole time. Those same books of the Bible that you're referring to got written after the, the. The authors, supposed authors, of those books were dead. How is, how is a dead man going to write a book?
Speaker 1:These are books that got written after the gospel of Barnabas, the gospel of of of Thomas. The gospel they got a gospel of Mary out there. These are the books that the gospel of Barnabas, the gospel of Thomas. They got a gospel of Mary out there. These are the books. The gospel of Judas.
Speaker 1:These are books that were written after Mary was dead, after Barnabas was dead, after Judas killed himself for what he did, and we're living in a world where people are so misinformed and people want to believe what they want to believe and so anything that doesn't align with that which, quite frankly, we're living in a world full of selfishness and full of self and and pride and ego and ego and flesh.
Speaker 1:It is no surprise that people don't want to feel like there is someone above them who created them, who created them. People want to feel like they are God and they are the gods of their own universe and their own reality. But I'm here to tell you that you're not. You are not, and I pray that you come to that revelation sooner than later, because we will not always be able to hear this conversation. The preaching of this gospel will be over at some point and you will never be able to say you didn't hear it. Man, this is not at all the direction I wanted to go in with this, but to God be the glory, I pray. Somebody got something from it and we will continue. We will continue and God will continue to have his way and we'll just continue to go as we're led by the Lord. So God bless all of y'all. Man, I love you. If you made it to this point, I appreciate you and keep rocking with me. Man, this is the Moral Compass Chronicles. Let's see where God takes us next.
